Black Brandisii Denrocalamus brandisii var. ‘black’

Black but sometimes motley brown/black culms with dark green leaves this is a very attractive plant .Growing erect with a nice plant structure.

This could be the best clumping black bamboo for Victoria.

By all reports it is more cold hardy than Timor Black, but has not been tested in Melbourne. We will have to wait and see how it fairs over this winter.
