Golden Painted Bambusa vulgaris ‘vittata’

A very popular plant largely because of it fascinating colourful culms, predominately bright yellow with random vertical stipes of enamel green. Foliage is also attractive with masses of bright green leaves.

Care must be taken with planting position as this variety will grow very large. With Melbournes long cold winters the foliage will become 'shaby' in late winter, but will rejuvenate quickly as the weather warms.
