Himalayacalamus porcatus Nepalese Blue so named for its origin and its powdered culms which give a blue appearance. Needs to be protected from full day sun to look its best.

Nepalese Blue and Himalayan Weeping are difficult to tell apart at certain times of the year. Nepalese Blue are slightly more sun tolerant, they grow taller and more upright and also grow thicker culms. This variety averages 3.5mt tall in most positions.
