We stock several varieties of green running varieties which are very hardy plants. We recommend these over clumping varieties when a plant needs to be grown in a pot in exposed conditions. Running bamboo withstands container growing far better than clumping varieties.

Most green running varieties are extremely versatile and can be manipulated to create a short dense hedge, a tall minimalistic statement or anything in between.

This variety can be burdened with aphids under certain circumstances but these bugs are very easy to eradicate with insecticide or even soapy water spayed onto the foliage.
