Small Buddha Belly Bambusa Ventricosa

Versatility is the best description for this bamboo variety. Under preferred growing conditions it will grow 15 metres tall with a mass of culms. Keeping it tightly restricted will create a bonsai; so do with it what you like. This plant will survive just about anywhere and will not take much effort to look superb.In harsh conditions with the plant stressed, the lower culms will 'buddha' and create that amazing feature. Bright green foliage will adorn the plant all year round.
