Timor Black Bambusa lako

A beautiful styled plant with polished black culms and large bright green leaves. An upright and vertical profile which is architecturally pleasing, especially in a Japanese theme garden.

Challenging to grow well in Melbourne's climate, although it can be done. Requires a warm location with good drainage and a wind protected position. Foliage will look very 'shabby' by the end of winter but will rejuvinate by the end of spring.
